The Tomb-Herd are gelatinous blobs from another dimension that possess special statues upon entering ours so that they can feed. If a statue is unavailable, they can possess a human for the same purpose.

#25 - Children of the Wind & Shoggoths

Children of the Wind

The Children of the Wind are bloated, corpse-like monstrosities, with stumps for limbs. They are always accompanied by howling, gale-force winds. Unfortunately, I was unable to find an image even vaguely resembling one.

#24 - Seekers & Eihort

Seekers

Seekers are agents of the Adumbrali. They appear as unusually perfect humans.

#23 - People of K’n-yan & Yig

People of K'n-yan

The People of K'n-yan—or K'n-yanians—are humans who live in a blue-lit, subterranean world beneath Oklahoma. It is said that they cut ties to the outside world around the time that Atlantis sank—approx. 10,000 BC.—and their society has since stagnated, loosing most of its art, science, and magic, though still considered "advanced" by our standards.

#22 - Spawn of Abhoth & Nyarlathotep

Spawn of Abhoth

Abhoth is constantly creating spawn, many of which are reabsorbed by it, but others are spared and wander free. No two spawn are the same.

#21 - Deep One Hybrids & Y'golonac

Deep One Hybrids

When a Deep One and human mate—as is the Deep Ones' way—the child is born human. It is not until puberty that they begin the change into a Deep One. This transformation takes years, or even decades, so during this time they are referred to as "hybrids".

#19 - Hyperboreans & Gla'aki

Hyperboreans

Hyperboreans were a great race, predating mankind. They lived in Hyperborea—which is now known as Greenland—until the coming of the ice age. Physically, they are practically human, though they tend to be slightly smaller (40-70 SIZ compared to humans' 40-90) and have long earlobes.

#18 - Voormis & Star-spawn of Cthulhu

Voormis

The Voormis are dog-like humanoids. They were created by the Serpent People as slaves, but escaped captivity when their masters' civilization fell. The Voormis thrived in Hyperborea until the arrival of humans, at which time they were hunted and driven underground. Though mostly extinct, some small colonies still exist.

#17 - Serpent People & Chaugnar Faugn

Serpent People

Serpent People are anthropomorphic snakes, known for their sorcerous ways. A favourite spell of theirs is Consume Likeness, which allows them to appear human and walk amongst our societies. They are also well-versed in various poisons. It's believed that they created Ghasts and Voormis in their technological prime, millennia ago.

#16 - Mi-Go & Zoth-Ommog

Mi-Go

The Mi-Go are a mix of crab, insect, and fungus. They're infamous for surgery skills, which are often put to use removing human brains and putting them in canisters.

#15 - Goatswood Gnomes & Abhoth

Goatswood Gnomes

The Goatswood Gnomes are statues that have been enchanted to life. They are dormant during the day, but come to life at night to carry out vile and devious acts.

#14 - Dust-Men & Daoloth

Dust-Men

I knew a day would come when I would struggle to find a suitable image for a monster... and today is that day. Not that there's much to work with. Dust-Men are said to be actual dust—at least in the waking world—that can float into people and give them bad dreams, or half-control them when awake.

#12 - Desh & Ghatanothoa

Desh

The Desh are creatures from an alternate dimension that can be summoned to earth through the brain of a sentient being. They come in many different shapes and sizes, two samples of which are pictured below, named Lesser and Greater Desh. Lesser desh appear as large silvery tadpoles with limp, toothless mouths, and with a row of dark, bead-like eyes across their narrow heads. Their long limbs are tough and springy. Greater desh have slim, fish-like bodies with four long limbs knotted with cords of stringy muscle. Wide mouths bristle with curved, six-inch teeth. The top of the sleek head is crowned with a bundle of 2 to 8 lidless, plate-shaped eyes arranged in a crescent.

#11 - Voors & Ithaqua

Voors

The Voors were a powerful and prosperous race of dwarves, predating humankind. Driven underground by the Hyperboreans and humans, they evolved into blind, albino creatures.

#10 - Martense Kin & Cthugha

Martense Kin

The Martense family, through generations of inbreeding, degenerated into animalistic monsters. They left the surface world to dwell underground in labyrinthine warrens, shunning the light—though it doesn't actually hurt them.

#09 - Miri Nigri & Shub-Niggurath

Miri Nigri

The Miri Nigri are mute dwarves created by Chaugnar Faugn from the flesh of toads. They tirelessly serve Chaugnar Faugn in his lair, only leaving twice a year to acquire sacrificial victims.

#08 - Rat People & Hastur

Rat People

Once human, Rat People have degenerated to a near animal state. I get the impression from their write-up in the Malleus Monstrorum that they are even less human than those pictured below, as it says that they sometimes walk on all fours and has no mention of weapons or even clothing.

#07 - Servants of Y’golonac & Cyäegha

Small, deformed, and eyeless, the Servants of Y'golonac dwell with him in darkness behind a great wall. Like him, they also have sharp-toothed mouths on their palms.

#05 - Zoogs & Ubbo-Sathla

Zoogs

Zoogs are cat-sized creatures native to the Dreamlands' Enchanted Forest. They are described as "furtive", which means they prefer to stay hidden.

#04 - Rat-Things & Azathoth

Rat-Things

Brown Jenkin, from Dreams in the Witch House, is a rat-thing, presumably named such because he is mostly a rat, but also has a deformed, human-like head, as well as human-like hands instead of feet. Rat-Things are primarily witches' familiars and were possibly once human.
